Saturated fats are what you get in deep fried foods. These kinds of fats not only make you fat, they are generally very bad for your health. Saturated fats have negative effects on nearly every aspect of your body and its health. On the other hand omega fats provide your body with the energy it needs to function properly. You need energy to burn calories, for example, which is one reason why many people feel lethargic when they reduce their fat gram intake too much. The key is not so much to reduce the number of fat grams you consume (though you may need to do this as well if you are trying to loose weight), but to consume the right kinds of fat.
Acai omega is getting so much attention these days because it is the right kind of fat. The acai berry is an excellent source of omega fats, in particular, omega 6 and omega 9. This is mentioned also in Oprah Winfrey TV Show where she did endorsed Acai Berry into public.
